Welcome to The Snowflake Ball's "Springtime in Paris", Ottawa’s most glamourous and one of Canada’s most prestigious and breathtakingly beautiful charity balls.
An evening of unsurpassed glamour and all the dazzling romance of a Parisian spring awaits at our extraordinary Valentine’s Day ball on Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 5:30 pm to 1:30 am, at the Hilton Lac-Leamy, in Gatineau, Quebec.
This enchanting Valentine’s Day ball, a party like no other, promises to be the most sought-after event of the year. In fact, we are almost SOLD OUT already, which is extremely exciting, so be sure to reserve as soon as possible!
The ball supports awareness and ground-breaking research for pediatric IBD (a group of inflammatory disorders that includes Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) and helps to save lives by promoting early screening for colon cancer. Proceeds benefit the world-class Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre and Screen Colons Canada
Join us on the most romantic night of the year as we take the theme of “Springtime in Paris” to extravagant heights with a sensationally chic and romantic celebration of the City of Lights…
The 2015 Valentine’s Day ball will also celebrate the outstanding achievements of Yael Jason, one of the original co-chairs for many years and inspiration behind The Snowflake Ball, who passed away suddenly in summer 2014, at the unbearably tender age of 32. Yael was a beautiful, brilliant, creative young woman, who had suffered from health issues from a very young age, including being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at the age of 10. We feel that one way to honour Yael’s memory and her radiant spark is to turn our grief into a positive force to help others. Please visit our tribute page to Yael.
Please note that the dress code for this evening is black-tie and long gowns.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, February 14th for our truly exceptional and unique “Springtime in Paris” Valentine’s Day ball.
