Courtesy of local artist Helene Lacelle, a fantastic selection of ten photographic scenes from around the Capital, including such iconic landmarks as the Fairmont Château Laurier, Parliament Hill, Rideau Canal, and more! Each colour photograph is printed on premium Epson matte paper (size 10” x 8”).

Acrylic on canvas, 18” x 24”, by Gisa Mayer, a Calgary-based artist, whose work is represented in collections in North America, Europe, and Australia. Gisa studied art and art history in Europe before falling in love with the Rockies and settling in Alberta. See the acrylic displayed in The Snowflake Ball’s Musée des beaux-arts!

Acrylic on canvas, varnished, 11” x 14”, by Melissa Jean, who painted the piece from her canoe on location at Lake Kanamiskeg in 2014. Her artwork can be found in private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Oil on canvas, 9” x 12”, framed, by West Coast artist Patricia Falck. A graduate of the prestigious Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Patricia’s art is available for viewing at the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery in Fort Langley, and her paintings are held in private collections in Canada and the United States.
